Solely through strategic use of structure and form, this speaker can amplify music from a mobile phone using no technology. The all-wood material choice was motivated by the preference for a more natural aesthetic.
The objective of this project was to create a mobile phone speaker that amplified sound through its form and used no electronic technology to do so. Through market research, I was able to discover existing products and structures that amplified sound through their form. This helped inform my own structural design for the amplifier.
